You will enjoy aging of the materials, as canvas gets stains and scratches, and leather changes its color.
After it is cut, the leather is partly buffed to achieve depth.
Heavy steerhide leather is tanned by a tank pit, a rare equipment in Japan and other countries. The color gets deeper and the surface gets shinier by aging.
Original brass rivet is coated by nickel.
